My name is Sho Tay—please allow me to introduce myself. I graduated from Alhambra High School and received my BS degree in Medical Technology from Cal State LA.  I started my own business when I was 19 and have since owned several businesses including a Mortgage and Real Estate Investment Company, an Indoor Firing Range, and an Internet Based Business.  I have been a resident of Arcadia since 1984 along with my wife, Sherry, and two children. I love this city; we have a lot of dear friends here. 

     I am very proud to be an American.  This country has provided me with many great opportunities, and now I want to contribute back to the community where I can.  I feel this can best be done by serving on the City Council.  I have nearly 30 years of business experience, and I am fully committed to excellence.  I know that I can make a difference in the growth of Arcadia .

As a member of the City Council, I would be dedicated to improving the city’s growth and prosperity.  One of my passions is to assist the youth by providing a safe environment for our children, supporting youth organizations, and promoting leadership among the young people.  The youth are the future for our city and our country.
